WHY WE MADE IT THIS WAY.
One protein, from one pea, carried through a simple three-step routine. This is the thinking behind the formulas: what we chose, where it belongs, and why we kept the rest uncomplicated.
WHY THE PEA?
Le Pois means the pea. We found one protein worth building around, and built the three formulas around it. The goal was not the longest ingredient story. It was a clear reason for everything that goes in.

FROM PEA TO FORMULA.
The idea is simple: start with the ingredient at the heart of Le Pois, then build each formula around the job it needs to do.

The Le Pois story begins with Pisum sativum, the garden pea.

Pea albumin protein, fractionated from Pisum sativum.

The day and night creams are built differently because they have different jobs.

Cleanser. Day. Night. Three steps designed to make sense together.
WHY FIX?
Three formulas. Three clear roles. We kept the routine short because good skincare should be something you can actually keep doing.

FIX Cleanser
The first step, morning and evening. Made to take the day off and leave skin feeling comfortable.

FIX Day Cream
Lighter for daytime, when sunscreen, makeup, or simply the rest of your day may go over it.

Every ingredient should have a reason to be there. The Ingredient Library shows what is in the formulas and the role each ingredient plays.

Pea albumin protein
Pea albumin protein is in all three formulas. It matters to the story, but it is not the only ingredient doing work in them.
WHAT WE HELD TO.
We chose fewer things to say, and clearer reasons for saying them. The same principle applies to the formulas.
Pea albumin protein, in the cleanser, the day cream and the night cream.
Cleanser to cleanse. Day cream for daytime. Night cream for the evening.
The routine stays at three because it does not need to become a collection of bottles to feel complete.
The products are meant to make sense together and be easy to keep using.

Science can feel human.
The point of formulation is not to make Le Pois sound technical. It is to make products you understand, enjoy using, and can make part of your day. If we share a number, a test, or a result, it should be because it tells you something useful.
THE POD IS PART OF THE THINKING.
The creams are housed in a reusable vessel. The cream itself arrives in a pod that sits inside it. When a pod empties, it comes out and the next one goes in. The vessel stays.
Le Pois is the pea; a pod is what a pea arrives in. The architecture followed the name rather than the other way around.

The science in your routine.
All of it resolves into four minutes a day.
Two pumps on slightly damp skin. Sunscreen and makeup go over the top. The base is light precisely so they can.
The day comes off, then the richer base as the last step. Nothing goes over it, so nothing has to accommodate it.

Questions, answered.
Why pea protein?+
Because the pea is where Le Pois began. Pea albumin protein is fractionated from Pisum sativum, the garden pea, and it is in all three formulas.
What does FIX mean?+
FIX is the name of the three-step Le Pois routine: cleanser, day cream, night cream.
How do the products work together?+
The cleanser starts the routine. The day cream is lighter for daytime. The night cream is richer for the final step. That is the whole idea.
What is in the formulas?+
The full INCI list for each formula is published in the Ingredient Library: twenty ingredients in the cleanser, twenty-seven in the day cream, thirty-three in the night cream. All three are fragrance-free.

THE PEA IS THE SCIENCE. THE SIMPLICITY IS THE PHILOSOPHY.
One protein, from one pea. Three products with three clear roles. Enough science to explain our choices, without asking you to earn a chemistry degree before you wash your face.
